POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION INTO GRUESOME DISCOVERY IN KYEIZOOBA, BUSHENYI

BUSHENYI UGANDA. Police in Bushenyi have launched investigations into the discovery of a dead body in a swamp in Nyambirizi cell, Bwera parish, Kyiezooba subcounty Bushenyi districtÂ
According to eyewitnesses, the body of an unidentified man in his 40s was found in the swamp, sparking concerns about security in the area. Muhumuza Clinton, a local resident, was among the first to spot the body and alerted others.
The Chairman of Nyambirizi LC1 confirmed that the deceased is not a resident of the area and has called for security agencies to intervene. Wilson Mutireyo, Chairman of Bwera LC2, condemned the act and urged authorities to take necessary action.
A team of police officers, including the SOCO team, visited the scene and retrieved the body, which was taken to Kitagata Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Police say they are working to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding his death. Anyone with information is urged to come forward and assist with the investigations.
