Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba to extend diagnosis services for hypertension and diabetes to Health Centres in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality

Residents of Bushenyi who have for long been having difficulties in accessing health services have a reason to smile as one of the aspirants has taken a step in easing the access to the services in the Community.

Its has always been a daily complaint by patients who have always failed to access some of the crucial Medical Services at the Health Centres in their respective areas.

However, recently, one of Political Aspirants in Bushenyi launched free medical camps at Kampala International University (KIU) Teaching Hospital and people have already started receiving free medical services every Thursday.

This did not mark the end of the road, our reporter has learnt that the same aspirant has now decided to send health workers to all Health Centres who will be giving free testing services for most common diseases which have always consumed peoples’ lives mysteriously. They will mostly be targeting Hypertension and diabetic conditions and patients will also be receiving free treatment from Kampala International University (KIU).

The said Aspirant is Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba, a son to Prominent Businessman El Hajji Hassan Basajjabalaba. He is eyeing the Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality Seat potentially on National Resistance Movement ticket.

While talking to our reporter at Bweranyangi after attending a Youth Conference on Sunday 12th January 2025, Hajji Iddi Basajjabala said his main aim is to save lives since life has no spare parts.

Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba who has already showed his commitment to supporting development in the Municipality faces competition from the incumbent Hon Derrick Kabura Beimukye among other aspirants.
